Course Objectives: After completing the course participants should be able to:
1. Understand the importance of correctly evaluating low back pain. 2. Understand and describe normal joint mechanics of the lumbar spine and sacrum. 3. Understand and correctly use terminology describing movement dysfunctions of the spine and sacrum. 4. Correctly perform evaluation techniques for diagnosis of movement dysfunctions of the spine and sacrum. 5. Correctly perform treatment techniques for specific movement dysfunctions of the spine and sacrum. 6. Perform successful evaluation and treatment of low back pain upon returning to the clinical setting.
